Choose a built-in tea or create a custom profile, then tap Play. Built-in profiles begin with a rinse; discard the rinse before brewing. When a round completes, tap Continue to advance, then tap Play when you are ready for the next steep.
Tap Create Custom Tea on the tea selection screen, enter a name and brewing settings, then save. To delete a saved custom tea, touch and hold its card and choose Delete.
Pause stops the countdown until you tap Play again. After pausing, Reset restores the current round's time. Use the restart button beside the round label to return to the beginning. Leaving the timer screen with Done or Back ends the active countdown and its reminders.
Tap a round indicator to jump to that round, or use Next to advance. Beyond the saved rounds, each additional steep increases by seven seconds up to a five-minute limit. Start each steep when you are ready.
Allow notifications when prompted, or open Settings → Notifications → Tea Timer to check your choices. Silent mode, volume, Focus, and notification settings can affect alerts. The app does not override silent mode. You can see the countdown in a Live Activity on supported devices.

The app requires iOS 16.2 or later on iPhone. Temperatures are displayed in Fahrenheit. Dynamic Island features require a device with Dynamic Island.
